Shanghai with “Shangheidi”!
When Heidi and I were missionary companions in Switzerland, it was obvious how adored she was by everyone who knew her. Today when we were shopping, it was like I was teleported back to the 1900s where all of the store workers knew her name! I couldn’t quit grinning. It was a fabulous shopping day with lots of great finds. I spent waaaaay too much on myself and my family: purses, shoes, jewelry, blowdryer---I loved it all!
In the evening, we went with Creed downtown to the Bunt. After a scrumptious dinner at the famous Lost Heaven, Heidi, Creed and I walked along the river to enjoy spectacular views of the Shanghai skyline and the Bund. Magical-
