It was another seasonably warm October 31st, the perfect backdrop for our annual Lindsay Family Halloween Party! A record number of family and neighbors showed up to feast on soups, pasta, and pumpkin pie. The neighbors came dressed to the nines as we enjoyed making memories together again. I LOVE where I live. We all do. We couldn't have hand-chosen better neighbors and friends.

A Fall Trip To Gardner Village in SLC!
It had been several years since we went to Gardner Village to see and experience the fun Halloween decor so we finally planned a day during our Fall Break to make a quick run there. Grandma Barbie came along with us as well as Briggs and Katie. The village is always decorated to perfection. We love browsing the shops and exploring the fun Halloween decorations set up around. The kids had a nice time, especially with the purchase of a few caramel apples to share!
Our Basement Comes Together!
October brought the finishing touches on our never-ending basement project! We bit the bullet and hired a finished carpenter to help us with the bar and entertainment center. I'm so grateful we did! I stained all of the wood and cabinetry but the way he lacquered the wood was far superior to what I could ever have done. Now for carpet in November, just in time for the holidays!
Soccer Fever! The "Gummy Bears" go Undefeated!
Alyssa is shaping up to be very athletic and competitive. Grandpa and Grandma Hatch keep saying she is her mother's child (which she really is). Oh, and her dad's too! We can't forget his contribution.
Enough about us. Alyssa had another awesome season. Her little team has been undefeated since they started playing at age 4. Two fall and spring seasons undefeated and now another fall season undefeated too. Coach Sean is incredible. He coaches 4 of his children's teams. He has been patient while motivating the kids to play their hardest and best. We are grateful for his time and talents.
