Alyssa traveled with Eva's family to Boise to participate in a soccer tournament! The girls played hard and ended up taking 1st place! We were sad to have missed it but oh-so proud of Alyssa for her dedication and efforts to play at a high level of intensity with her team. Gooooo Celtics!
With Dave and Austin in Moab for most of the Easter Weekend, I took the opportunity to focus on my girls! On Saturday, I arose early to get some errands run, sent Alyssa to Meredith's to participate in two Easter Egg Hunts around Cedar Hills and Highland, and then spent the afternoon making Easter cookies and coloring eggs with the girls. It was so much fun!
On Sunday, I was able to accompany a few numbers in church and then we went to Connie's for an Easter dinner and another hunt with the kids. Austin was sick so I left early for home to be with him.
I am eternally grateful for my Savior and the opportunity I have to be with my family after this life. It is a priceless gift and blessing!
Taylor and JD enjoyed a fabulous night at the AFJH prom in SLC! She wore Meredith's gold dress and Meres also did a killer makeup job on her. Taylor felt like a million dollars, but most importantly, had a wonderful experience with a wholesome and kind young man.
Dave was able to make a quick down to Moab to join Austin and the Deacon's Quorum on a hiking/biking adventure that rivaled even the best of trips! They enjoyed a night hike to Delicate Arch, slept 4 hours, and then biked in Canyonlands for the morning and afternoon. They came back sore, dirty, and filled with a lifetime of stories! Love my boys!
