As a family, we all enjoyed the most fun Valentine's Day this year! After teaching my morning classes, I ran up to Jaxson's school to help with his class party. I wanted to do a different type of craft, so I did some research and gave Jaxson some choices. He chose the salt dough magnets. We had fun making the dough, baking them and gluing the magnets to the back in preparation for the 1st grade party!
At the party, there were four stations for the students. When my group of students would be working on painting their hearts, I would sneak off and take pictures of my cutie pie son!

Almost Jaxson's turn for "Don't Eat Pete!"

Jaxson, acting a little bit too silly, at my center!

Jaxson painted one of the best magnets of the group! Now I
know you think that I am just saying that because he is my seed, but even the other mother at the center commented that it was done with great detail and beauty!

Jaxson at the cookie center!

Look at all of the heart-shaped magnets! Jaxson's is the rainbow magnet with the little heart off the side.

Jaxson was being too silly to hold his magnet and let me get a picture, so this is my best attempt to put both the magnet and Jaxson in my picture...
After the Valentine's Day party, I dashed home to hang Valentines on the kids' bedroom doors. I wrote their names and then words/phrases that described the things I love the most about each child. Last, I taped some of the kids' favorite treats to the pink Valentines! Each child
LOVED them!

Taylor loved the
Toblerone chocolate on her Valentine. (Ever since she learned about Switzerland for a 4th grade project, she has been in love with this Swiss chocolate!)

And Jaxson's Valentine had to have gum.
Yes,
gum!
The only treat he ever wants to buy at the store! :)

Here is Taylor showing off the cutest Valentine from her class this year!
A Valentine's Day Dinner at
Grandma Barbie and Poppi's House
After Jaxson's gymnastics class, we drove over to our grandparents for a fun dinner with Aunt Cheri and her family. We enjoyed the nicest evening there.

Jaxson took some of his candy and made the cutest card for the Aunt Cheri and her family. He wrote about how nice they are and why he likes them. Here is Jaxson reading his card to them.

They were touched by the card and made Jaxson feel so great about his thoughtful gesture.

Grandma Barbie always has the prettiest table decorations for each party! Thanks for making this another special occasion for our children!

Taylor loved the spaghetti, salad and yummy toast!

Happy Valentine's Day, Austin!
You are soooo loved!

We taped some hearts on Grandma Barbie and Poppi's garage door with some words and phrases describing what we love about each of them!

I need to add a couple more pictures of the flowers Dave bought and Dave getting his little gift from me! :)
Another great
Valentine's Day!
