A Sunday in Manti (while I stayed home to work the fields in primary)

Dave, along with Taylor, Austin, and Alyssa, drove down to Manti for Carson's ordination.  I had to stay behind to keep the primary in line since the presidency were all out of town and to play a piano solo in church.  Dave got there early so they drove to Manti to visit our ancestors' graves.  Dave sent me pictures of the kids that filled my heart with so much joy!

Celebrating Pioneer Day- July 24th!

We met in Molly and Caroline's backyard for an evening of yummy Navajo tacos, salads, fruit, and desserts as well as face painting, games, visiting, watching fireworks, and a movie.  It is one of my favorite evenings of the summer.  The weather was beautiful and the evening cooled right down.  We had the greatest time with our families and neighbors.

Summer Nights

Homemade Almond Ice Cream custard with fresh blueberries on the deck with Poppie and Grandma Barbie!

Alyssa attended a bug party.  For about a week, we have been finding bugs in our bedding at night.  So funny!

 Games with the Hatch family.

 7 Peaks with the Dujardins!

Austin, rock climbing at Trafalga!

A Family Day at LAGOON!!!!!

Dave's work invited their employees and families to a day at Lagoon on the company's dollar. We left early for the park with a cooler filled with water and treats.  What a day we had!  Taylor and Jaxson (and Alyssa) quickly bonded over the adventurous rides while Austin kept close to his mother for the day. :)  I secretly loved it.  The company fed us lunch and then we hit Lagoon-a-beach for the afternoon and evening.  We wrapped up the evening with more rides before leaving the park for home.  It was a wonderful day to spend as a family.  #familyiseverything

A visit from Miss Arizona!

My sister, Ginger, and her family visited us on their way back to Arizona.  We were dying over how cute her kids were.  (Even as I type this blog entry, Alyssa asked if we can keep the baby for a month! YES!  I would love to!) We ate Cafe Rio salads for dinner and then headed down to the pond to try out paddle boarding with the young children.  We loved our visit and wished we lived closer to them.  xoxo
