We enjoyed such a fun evening together at our Activity Days Princess Dinner. Little eats and crafts!
Being one of the junior class advisors, I was in charge of prom (not terrifying at all). We planned for a few months and were ready to go! I ran to Costco and purchased 14 cases of water, mints, and flowers for the royalty. Then loaded it all in the Yukon, drove to the SLC Capitol, unloaded it all on the 2nd floor on the rotunda.
An hour later, the kids started to arrive. What a night! The music, the dresses, the fun! I kept having students of mine run up to me and take selfies and introduce their dates. It was such a wonderful night.
I thoroughly enjoy going to Jaxson's choir concerts at MRJH. They sing so beautifully and I enjoy all of the musical choices of the director. So proud of you, Jaxson!!!!!
Our beautiful friend and neighbor, Rachel, has been diagnosed with cancer so we wanted to do something special for her. We met at her home the night before her port was put in and sang some songs like "Be Still My Soul" and "How Great Thou Art" and "Where Can I Turn for Peace". Matt sent me a text later saying that it had been very "emotionally healing" for their family. We just love Raechel and the entire Haney/Baum crew!
I FINALLY had my grand piano cleaned. I couldn't believe the amount of items brought out like nerf gun bullets, money, and even and chocolate chip!
I am in love with our fire pit. So excited to build memories around it this year!
We rented a Nissan Murano and drove to Maricopa, AZ to visit mom and dad over Spring Break this year. The 90 degree weather was delightful and the company even better! The kids got to spend some fun time with Jenny's and Ginger's kids. Mom and the girls had a fun day together as well with shopping and dinner at PF Changs in Chandler. It was just wonderful to be together as family. We miss them so much during the winter.
