A Visit From Jessica and Maddie!

We are really, really missed time with all of our cousins since Covid began almost a year ago. We have spent only 1 day with Justin's family in the past year.  We have only spent 1 day with Brantly's family and we have only seen Ammon once.

Soooo, we were super excited for Jessica and Maddie to come and visit us for an afternoon and evening! They are darling girls. 

 

Iceskating in Midway, Utah!

Alyssa has a wonderful soccer team, all of whom are turning 12 this year.  Which means we have been attending lots of super fun birthday parties for these darling girls!  

Since Maddie lives in Midway, the party was there. The girls got to ice skate for a few hours in the town center which they loved!  Alyssa had a great time.  She is growing up too fast!

Alyssa's 6th Grade Science Project: Covid vs Cleaners

This was such a great science project for Alyssa: what bathroom cleaners eliminate the most bacteria?  

We borrowed a blacklight from one of my colleagues and headed to the most disgusting place in the house: the boys' bathroom. We couldn't believe how much bacteria there was: on the toilet, floors, baseboards, walls!  Alyssa even said she thinks we need a blacklight to clean the rest of our house with.

We learned that Clorox bathroom cleans the most with Lysol coming in 2nd.  Ms. Myers smelled the best but cleaned poorly.
