1st Day of School/Playing "Ginger getting married."

Taylor's 1st day of school was great! Dave took her to school and took pictures of her. She got to meet some new friends and eat school lunch (apparently, that was a highlight)! Her teacher is fantastic too. The boys and I picked her up from her 1st day.

Taylor waiting in line to go into school.

Later that day, I overhead Taylor and Jaxson in a bedroom. They were discussing how they were going to play "Ginger getting married." I walked in and saw Taylor dressed like this!

Szymanski Visit

In August, we were excited to hear that Rachelle and Jared were in town with their daughters, Brita and Leah. We were only able to see them for about an hour but it was a riot (as expected). Taylor loved playing with her "sisters". She has called Brita and Leah her sisters for years now and still draws them into her pictures of our family.

Beautiful girls! Leah (age 5), Brita (age 6) and Taylor (age 6)
Sinced Jared was expressing disappointment in not having the adults' pictures taken, I chose to snap a quick one of him. We are currently having it enlarged and will have the newly-framed picture hung from above Dave and my bed....
One last picture of the kids, including Jaxson. (Austin was having a snooze....)

Pleasant Grove Home

Pleasant Grove Home
Dave staining the mantel in the great room.
Jaxson getting ready to dance to Dad's music.
About a year ago, in November of 2006, we decided it was time to build and move again. We found a lot in Pleasant Grove and felt it was a good investment. Building this home has been quite the experience! Dave has been swamped and has done an amazing job being the general contractor on the house. Anyway, we are going to sell it now and stay where we are. Dave and I wanted something different than tans and browns for the exterior of the home. It still needs the shutters and the door stained.

The fireplace in the basement-
I love the way Dave designed the mantel to wrap around the entire fireplace.
Master Bathroom, without the mirrors, fixtures or cabinet doors.
This is the granite Dave chose to go throughout the all the house's bathrooms. Doesn't it look like marble?Back of house, before the railingMaster tub and shower. We are putting glass from above the tub to the ceiling to separate the two. Right before the sheet rock

Ginger's Wedding- part 2

One of the best things about Mom and Dad coming home from their mission and Ginger & Josh's wedding was having a lot of family time.

We took this picture of all of the Hatch grandkids at our home. Such cute kids!

Lindsay Kids- Spring 2007

In April, I took the kids in the Kiddie Kandids for their birthday pictures. In order to appreciate the experience I'm going to share with you, I need to add some history about kids and photo opportunities. Dave HATES going with me to get the kid's pictures! It usually takes 1 1/2-2 hours from start to finish....IF everybody coorporates and we aren't told to take a break for 30 minutes to feed a screaming baby or let a child nap for a while. Anyway, when I took the kids in April (by myself), our picture taking only took 8 minutes! We ate pretzels while we waited for the pictures to print. Anyway, as my mom said, it was "an Easter miracle!"

LINDSAY KIDS 2007

Jaxson David- age 3
Jaxson is our 3 year old and the most inquisitive, curious and energentic child I have come upon. He has the ability to create all sorts of...situations... for us in a matter of minutes. He loves to run, climb and eat Dino nuggets. His smile and love of corny personalities makes him a hoot to be around!
Taylor Jae- 6 years old

Taylor is such a sweetie, our "little princess" as her Dad calls her! She loves movies, playing outside with her friends, helping mom cook and reading books. She will be in 1st grade next year and can't wait to be in a school with her neighborhood friends! Taylor is my helper and I am so grateful for this child!

Austin Lee- age 1

Austin has so many names. Jaxson couldn't quite say his name when he was born, so he called him "Haw-hee". It stuck. So have the names, "pup", "guppie" and "our little heartbeat". The last name sums up who Austin is for us! He changes almost weekly now for us. He thinks he is significantly older than he is and tries to run with the big kids. He loves to dance, eat, drink his sippie, play with trucks, and really loves books. Dave always says he could have 5 more boys just like this one!

Brandon & Charlotte's Twins!

Brandon & Sydney with Grandma HatchGrandma Hatch with Sadie

Brandon and Charlotte had their babies on August 21, 2007. They were both over 5 lbs. Sadie went right into the ICU for her heart. Sydney's hip kept on popping out of the socket so she will be wearing a brace for a few months until it can stay in on its own.

Both the babies are just darling and we are so excited to see them! Congratulations to Brandon and Charlotte on their new family!

Ginger & Josh's July Wedding

Ginger and Josh were married on July 21st in the Logan Temple. The wedding took place just 2 weeks after mom and dad returned home from their mission in Fort Worth, Texas. Our entire family was able to be there, including Brandon and a very pregnant Charlotte carrying the twins. It was an awesome day for our family.
