2025 Hatch Family Reunion - Day 3 (Memorial Day Celebrations!)
Memorial Day 2025! What a wonderful day to spend at the townsite with the kids! We spent time visiting with life-long friends, bought our Huckleberry jam and drinks, and drank in the history and culture of this beautiful valley!

2025 Hatch Family Reunion- Day 2 (Church, Birthday Celebrations, Family Pictures, Family History)
Day 2: Sunday
We arose and ate a light breakfast before heading to Chesterfield for church. They had just re-boundaried the Bancroft and Chesterfield wards so it was a huge, huge crowd! We arrived 15 minutes before church and were still setting up chairs for us near the back of the gym.
Church was awesome. Because the ward wasn't prepared to handle an influx of people, we only had sacrament meeting and then were invited to visit in the gym. We were able to see so many people and enjoy visiting with them.
After church, we met back at the Neibaur cabin for a yummy dinner, a fun jeep ride up in the mountains behind Bancroft with Brandon and Charlotte, and then bows and arrow shooting in The Grove. We celebrated Mya and Dad's birthdays with cake and ice cream!
The afternoon passed way too fast and suddenly, we were all getting ready for family pictures. One of Justin and Jana's über-talented friends is a world-class photographer who drove up to take the pictures.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the "Coming Home" Family History hour that Jenny had planned. I put together a little video highlighting each of our grandparents (Margaret, Raymond, Phyllis, and Paul) and then Jenny had asked 2 siblings/mom/dad to share 1-2 minutes of memories we have with our children and nieces/nephews. It was a special time with laughter, memories, and tears of joy.
