After work, the kids scattered so Dave, Alyssa, and I drove down to Connie's house for some soup with the family before heading back to the house for trick-or-treaters. It was a very low-key night but fun too! Dave dressed as Elvis and I as his biggest fan! Taylor was a flamingo, Jaxson a rich Beverly Hills brat, Austin a masked man, and Alyssa was both a flying squirrel and a skeleton soccer player.

Happy Halloween 2019!
This year for Halloween, we actually experienced a real scare: Dave was in a car accident! While waiting for a light to turn green at the temple traveling west, a distracted driver rammed into the back of Dave. We are grateful for the outcome of the accident and for Dave's life and love.

Fall Break 2019: a STAYCATION in Utah!
I'm not going to lie: at first I was disappointed to not leave Utah County for Fall Break, but at the same time, we were so exhausted from all of the fall sports, school, work, graduate school, and more!
We slept, shopped for winter clothes and shoes, enjoyed a short hike at Bridal Veil Falls, went to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins for carving, carved the pumpkins, made caramel apples with Grandma Barbie and Poppie, and Jody even enjoyed the broadway show MISS SAIGON with Uncle Doug.

Alyssa's Fall Soccer Wraps up with 2nd place in her division
With a record-cold October, wrapping up Alyssa's soccer season was cold and even miserable for her mother! LOL! We are so proud of her and her hard work this season.
