Taylor was asked by JD to go to AFHS's Homecoming dance! She was elated...we all were! Taylor and I had a great time shopping for a dress and shoes for her.
Finally, the big night came! We worked on her hair and it turned out beautifully! We ran over to Meredith's for make-up and it turned out beautifully too!
When JD arrived, he looked amazing! Both children looked beautiful. We took a bunch of pictures as did JD's mother. They had a wonderful time. We are so happy for Taylor!
Monday: Work, voice lessons, homework, carpool to soccer practice, dinner, dishes, reading, concert for 9-11 that Taylor performs in.
Tuesday: Work, reading, homework, laundry, carpool to soccer, carpool to mountain biking, driving to the Orem mall to find a dress for Homecoming, eat a German Rimmels, buy shoes, home at 9:15pm.
Wednesday: Work, homework, reading, Austin meets Real Soccer team, Young Womens-Young Mens Service Project where Jaxson volunteers to bring donuts for 80 youth that we have to buy and deliver, laundry, 3 hours of prep for German, dinner, dishes
Thursday: Work, grades, homework, reading, soccer carpool for both Alyssa and Austin, Jaxson to mountain biking, create a volcano for Alyssa's homework, dinner, dishes, (are we almost to the weekend?)
It's a great life! Busy, filled with opportunities for our children to develop their talents and ambitions, spiritual growth, and bonding with each other.
Last weekend was one packed with exciting events in our family. We drove to Orem to watch McKay open his mission call. He got called to serve in the Cancun, Mexico Mission! So exciting! We facetimed mom and dad in Idaho and they were thrilled beyond words for him! Afterward, the girls and I went out for dinner and pedicures while the boys went out on their Fathers/Sons Campout in Spanish Fork.
The next evening, Austin and Dave were able to see their dream game live: BYU vs Utah football! Wonderful memories for our family!
We waited until Sunday morning to go up to Idaho to visit because we had so much yard work to do at our home in Cedar Hills. We spent two full days with mom and dad. They thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we sure enjoyed our time there too. Jaxson stayed home with Dave and ended up going boating with the DuJardins. He even got up on a wakeboard. So happy for our son!
Taylor had the most creative way to ask out JD to LPHS's Sadies Dance! JD and Taylor met for an early morning bike ride. She and Austin had put posters up at the park. JD loved the invitation! He even turned around and invited Taylor to Homecoming. Exciting!
