A Little Bit Of This; A Little Bit Of That

I just love my family.  I love taking little pictures of them in the mundane moments of life.  These pictures bring a smile to my heart.

Life doesn't get better than this.

BYU Basketball with the family!

My cousin, Doug, called and asked if our family wanted tickets to see the final game of the BYU men's basketball season.  We did.  I called Molly and her family to see if they wanted to go too.  It was great fun and the team played awesome.

Our Junior Jazz Star!

We are so proud of this boy.  He wrapped up his season with a super win!  Austin plays with passion and purpose.  He is also displays great sportsmanship when he plays.  I love watching him give high 5 to the players on his team after they score.

Keep up the great work, Austin!  We are your biggest fans!

Happy Valentine's Day!

The day of love.  I have never loved Valentine's Day as much I have since I met my hunky guy and had my beautiful children.  And 2014 didn't disappoint.  At all.

Dave brought me a dozen beautiful roses and a sweet card.  I made some yummy strawberry bread for our elegant dinner at Meredith and Nate's house.

The boys made us King Crab Legs, Fillet Mignon, creamed spinach, scalloped potatoes as well as chocolate cake for dessert.  I provided the entertainment.  And we had a blast!

Thanks to the love of my life and my friends for life for another memorable Valentine's Day!

A Night To Remember!

Here we were at Malawi's Pizza in Orem.  It was 9:00pm

Here we were at 10:15pm.
Dave had a racing heart which scared him.  I was in bed when he said, "We have to go to the ER right now.  We went and yes, his heart rhythms were off and in a bad way.  After a 90 minutes or so, we were sent back home.  It was a scare that just reminded all of us how important each person in our family is to us.  We love our Dave more than anything.

Valentine's Day Cookies at Grandma's House!

Here we are at Grandma's house making yummy Valentine's Day cookies!  And chili.  The kids LOVED the chili.  :)

Can't We Just FREEZE TIme?

Oh my goodness!  Our baby girl turned 5 in February!  We planned a fun party with her little friends.  Each one of the kids was in charge of an event or game.  The party was loud and crazy, but Alyssa just glowed and basked in the spotlight.

Please, can we just freeze time and let her stay the baby?

A Visual Cocktail of February Memories!

Our baby turned 5!
She is just precious in every, single way!

Move over, Pintrist!  Jody Hatch Lindsay just made some freakin' great cupcakes!
The frosting I used was called hot chocolate frosting.  Simply whipping cream with hot chocolate mix mixed in.  Super yummy!

Dave and his girl!  He loves to have his picture taken with this little munchkin!

Look at the amazing cake Meredith made for Clara for her birthday.  Beautiful and delicious!

Austin fell in love with another sport this winter:  BASKETBALL!  His ability to focus, strive and his great sportsmanship are my favorite things about watching him play.  What a great boy!

Here is our Jaxson making some Valentine's Day cookies!  He is artistic and creative.

Here they are!  All four of them are mine.  LOVE.  Forever.

And let's not forget the parents behind these cute kids.
