Jody Turns 52!

I enjoyed the most wonderful birthday!  From the messages on social media to phone calls and texts.  From the surprise visit from a former student to lunch and dinner with loved ones and my sweet family. I felt so loved and cherished.

 

Vision Therapy Wraps Up for Austin!

After 9 months of weekly vision therapy, Austin completed the program with great amounts of progression in retraining his brain and eyes to reconnect. Michelle, the vision therapist, was simply inspiring to guide and coach him each week.  She was a weekly blessing for him.  I knew the investment was solid when Austin took the pre-ACT test and reported that for the first time testing in years, he didn't have a headache and could comprehend better what he was reading.

 

Easter Blessings 2022

It was a special experience to celebrate Easter Sunday at Grandma Barbie and Poppie's home. We love the fun tradition of an Easter Egg Hunt, yummy food, and being with family.  Watching the next generation of great grandkids hunt for eggs was a reminder that the circle of life gives at each phase.

We are grateful for our Savior who allows us the knowledge that death is not final, that we live beyond the grave.  Lately, I find myself praying asking for my grandparents and loved ones to influence my family from the other side in ways that I can not right now. I believe in my heart that we will live again with our family and loved ones again, that death is only a chapter' end in a never-ending story.
