Xi’an has had us going from sunrise to practically midnight, and every hour has been packed.
For our final full day in China, we spent the morning touring BYD Headquarters....a true glimpse into the future. (“Build Your Dream” really means it!) Seeing an off-road vehicle continue driving on three wheels after a flat tire and another vehicle that can actually float and navigate through water was fascinating.
The afternoon was spent visiting an elementary school in Shanghai where we learned with and were entertained from the beautiful Chinese students. The closing ceremony was special. Emily gave a great speech (again) while our students performed songs. Many elementary students danced for us.
One of my favorite things about traveling is learning from other cultures and witnessing the ingenuity, creativity, and vision that people bring to the world.
Our world is incredible.
