Yesterday, as we were jumping into the suburban at 7:00am on our way to Julie's house/school/work, Austin said to me, "Mom- do you know what I am the most excited about today?"Our conversation went like this:
Jody: "School?"
Austin: "Nope."
Jody: "Football?"
Austin: "No, mom"
Jody: "Reading with mom?"
Austin: "No, Mom. GUESS!!!!"
Jody: "I don't know, son. Tell me!"
Austin: "I love Mondays because YOU pick me up from school on Mondays!"
Wow. I have a person I have birthed who loves Mondays because I get to pick him up from Kindergarten.
You know what?
I think Mondays just became my favorite day of the week too.
