Fall Traditions: Football, Face Painting and Soccer Season Ends

WOW! This fall has been a whirlwind for our family. We have never been this busy as a family. Having said that, we have enjoyed watching the kids progress and develop new talents, gain confidence and enjoy these activities together as a family.

Soccer season wrapped up yesterday until March 2012. Austin played hard and scored several goals for his team. I love the intensity he shows as he focuses in on each and every play during a game.
Best buddy, Rees, and Austin chasing each other to score the coveted goal!
Rah, Rah, Rah Fire Bombs!

Grandma Barbie was welcomed by Alyssa at the game. She and Poppie rarely miss an event with the children. The kids make certain their grandparents know that their presence means something to them!

Flying Planes after the Lightning Bolts score!

At the end of each game, we have a tradition to form a tunnel for the kids to run through. They love it and expect it. Even the parents from the other team join us so that ALL the soccer stars can run through their tunnel!

Dave and King James: every time Dave and I have our marriage in a good place, he brings a dog into it......
Dog Piling Coach Jay! Jay Hafen has been an incredible coach and mentor. Thanks, Christina Natalie, for setting us up with him because he is incredible.

Breath-taking Fall Scenery in Utah!
Gardner Village
Going to Gardner Village is a feast of vibrant colors, smells and imagination. Last year, on a Saturday morning, we spent a few hours there with Grandma Barbie and had the greatest time. In was then that we chose to make it a fall tradition.

The kids love the colorful witches and mostly, to have their faces painted for a day. We enjoyed walking around and browsing through the shops too.

Face Painting
Alyssa LOVES "Hello Kitty" and wanted it on her cheek!

Mean Kitty

Yes....Happy Kitty!

The Hults met up with us at Gardner Village for a while. Carter wanted to join the kids in the face painting.
This is so magical to me. I caught this fast shot as he opened his eyes to see himself transformed for the first time!

Cute little besties!
