Sunday Services- at home for the first time in my life

Bishop Miller sent an email allowing all priesthood holders to administer and pass the sacrament at home since we are not allowed to congregate for a time due to the Corvid-19 Coronavirus.
We had 1:30pm church (Jaxson and Alyssa both were tired and slept until 12:30pm).  I made soup and homemade rolls.  Afterward, we had the kids get in their Sunday clothes to join us for the administration of the sacrament.  There was a little protest, and boys arriving with "Coronavirus protection" with goggles, scarves over the mouth etc. Haha!
Dave blessed the sacrament and the boys administered it to us. We sang hymns, prayed, listened to President Nelson's video message sent on Friday, and then finished reading 2nd Nephi.  As we gathered around the piano for the closing song of "A Child's Prayer", I felt tears of joy hearing my children singing.
At the conclusion of our home-centered services, Dave announced we were going on a Lindsay family walk on the trail....where he would then sing "Pioneer Children Sang as They Walked". We only went about 2 miles and enjoyed being outside and together.

I texted mom and dad telling them today has been one of my most favorite Sundays in a long, long time. I love my family with my whole heart.  They are my everything.  I am grateful to have an honorable man of God as my husband who tries so hard to do the right things for our family.  It was a beautiful experience to see my husband and sons administering the sacrament to our family today.

Lone Peak Bantam Basketball Comes to a Close

Alyssa has had the greatest season this year playing for the Lone Peak 5th grade bantam team.  They had a wonderful coach, Coach Feli, who really taught them skills and conditioned them.  We have loved going to Alyssa's games each week since November.  She works hard and is such a great team player.  It has also been fun for her to play with bestie Clara.

Happy Birthday to the LOVE of my life!

Someone was soooo excited it was his birthday today! LOL!

Dave spent half of the day informing his sisters, cousins, Aunt Joan, Steve Johnston, and my brothers it was birthday. It was hilarious to see the messages come pouring in.

I had two ward conferences to teach primary music at, but I was sure I was ready to celebrate this guy.  I had made a poppyseed cake and pie since I thought the Lindsay family might come over.  Dave chose to not have them come since we had been experiencing so much illness in our family.  We sang to him and celebrated him turning 48.

Dave brings so much joy, laughter, and love into our hearts and home.  He is simply a gift, someone I just can sit with and know how loved and cherished I am.  More than ever, as we watch people we love make choices that have caused their family units to crumble, I am grateful for the choice I made...WE made....to have a celestial relationship and eternal family.  That choice brings me peace, security, and commitment.  Happy Birthday, Dave!  We love you more than anything!

Dear Evan Hansen

My birthday gift to Dave, broadway tickets to see, "Dear Evan Hansen", went down when Dave started to feel sick.  So Meredith and I enjoyed a girl's night out to the show!

Snow College's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat"

We enjoyed watching Carson perform in "Joseph" at Snow College in Ephraim. For the past years, we have enjoyed a front row seat watching him flourish in the area of performing arts.  He did an amazing job in the role of Pharaoh, voice and dancing too!
