Arizona in early December was beautiful! 70s and sunny for several days before the rain rolled in.
We traveled to Arizona to watch Alyssa play in a tournament that brought college recruiters from around the nation to watch with us too. The girls lost one, tied one, and won one. The final game was played in pouring rain; of course, that was the game that all of the Hatch family came to watch her play! Mom and dad were so great to travel from Sahaurita to Mesa twice to watch Alyssa play soccer.
A highlight of the trip was celebrating Jenny's 50th birthday at her home after the rainy and cold soccer game. We gave her the book from the Hatch family which thrilled her.
We traveled to Sahaurita to spend time with mom and dad and Ginger's family as well. We loved it there, especially swimming in the outdoor pool, the piano "recitals" from Ginger's kids, yummy food, and games at the kitchen table. It was an incredible 6 days with our Hatch family as well as one on one time with Austin while Alyssa was with her team. I'm grateful Dave has the job he has right now that allows us these opportunities and for my position that gives flexibility. Yes, we are feeling humble and blessed.
