Our Basement Project: Finishing Touches!

 The construction in our basement is coming together in such a great way at this point.  Dave has been working tirelessly putting up lights, light switches, hanging lights late into the night.  We already are using the space more than we ever thought.  The kids' bedrooms are awesome.  Way less fighting!

Having our granite installed was another big step for us.  We had chosen the pattern at a place in SLC from a little 4X4 inch block.  I had been a nervous wreck about it, worried that it might look like 101 Dalmatians when installed.  

When it arrived, I was nervous to look closely at it.  But when I did, I felt a rush of emotion because it was so pretty with the stain on the cabinetry.  

We're almost there!
