The kids and I left Temecula on Saturday afternoon (Dave flew back to Utah at 4:30 pm) and drove through the hot desert en route to Vegas. The Bee Gees kept me sane because the kids didn't travel the most peacefully.Brandon and Charlotte made us feel so welcome in their home. We caught up on our trip and their family reunion. We took the kids for a quick swim. The kids played together so cute. Austin cuddled up to Brandon the entire night. Sunday was spent at church, eating a yummy potatoes and chicken dinner and getting Brandon ready for work (he works the 5pm-5am shift right now at his job).

Monday morning, my children awoke early, so I took them to a nearby park so that they wouldn't wake up Brandon since my children are insanely loud. We played until Charlotte called to let me know she and the twins were awake, so we all headed out to a splash park for several hours. My kids loved it! The water was cold and there was a breeze to blow the cool mist on both me and Charlotte.

Notice the pile of sand on the slide? My children can't just play in the sand with their buckets: they have to DUMP the sand on the slide so their clothes have to be washed that evening.

In the evening, we took a picnic to another HUGE splash park with the kids. Charlotte made the yummiest BLT salad (my new summer favorite) and the kids made new friends while running around.

Look at Little Lou Go!

I
FINALLY bought Jaxson a new swimming suit, after having watched him hold on to it the entire summer at our wet events.

Austin always finds new friends at the park where ever we go. He gets everybody to play Hide and Seek!

We're having the best time!

MY SEED! Love these kids!

My
adorable nieces with Alyssa and Austin. We miss you already!
Tuesday, we ventured to the Las Vegas Children's Discovery Museum. It was incredible. Simply incredible. I like it better than Salt Lake's and the one in SLC is fabulous. We stayed there SIX HOURS, a personal record for my own attention span! Station after station entertained the children hour upon hour. I took pictures until my camera died. It was the best time with our cute nieces.

Bubble World
The kids were fascinated making huge bubbles. We stayed here forever.

THE THEATER
The kids dressed up in costumes and put on several plays for us. It was so cute and they were über-creative.
