The movie title seemed to fit the cold front that moved into Utah. Taylor, Ashlyn and I went out for Pizza and then to see the movie FROZEN. It was adorable! My time with the girls was even better than the movie. It is refreshing to be with wonderful, upbeat girls.

"Warming Up to the Lindsays": The Friend December 2013
One night, Dave asked our family to gather around him so he could read an article out of the FRIEND. We were shocked to read about a family with our own last name. The kids have NEVER sat so quietly and listened to a story. At the end, we ended up having a great discussion about kindness and the way we treat people. Yolanda put on Facebook a link to this story with the headline, "We love the Lindsays." Yes, loved that!
A Swiss Tradition: FONDUE NIGHT!
We've been doing this night since 1993! 20 years. Unbelievable! We met in Lindon at Deniece's house for an evening of cheese, bread and memories galore! I love how my children love this night too.
I will always be grateful for my mission call to serve in the Switzerland, Zürich Mission. The impact of that experience affects my life every day.
A Post-Thanksgiving Visit from the Lindsays!
Alyssa couldn't even sleep until Uncle Bob and Aunt Dawn arrived at our home on the Saturday following Thanksgiving! About 10 minutes later, she took her blanket, went over to Aunt Dawn, curled up and went to sleep on her lap. Adorable!
Bob, Dawn, Bobby, Nancy and three of their children spent two nights in our home. I cooked and did a lot of dishes! On Sunday evening, we attended an event at the Stone Gate called "A Night In Bethlehem." It was really cute. My favorite part was when we were watching Mary, Joseph and baby and they asked all of the kids to come kneel in front of the baby Jesus. Austin and Alyssa were shy, so Dave took their hands and knelt down with them. It was tender.

Thanksgiving Day 2013
Oh, it was fun! It was sooooo fun! The only thing that would have made the day perfect was if Dave hadn't been so sick! It ended up affecting Ginger and Josh coming to dinner with us (sniff, sniff, bawl) but Justin and Jeff's family ended up coming and we had a great time.
The table looked beautiful and the kids' table was awesome too. Taylor and I had fun making the turkey cups filled with whoppers. Brinlee just wanted the chocolate and not the turkey. Too cute!
I wanted to do something unique and original for the cousins to remember the day I found these cute cut outs on Pintrist, printed them and mounted them on sticks for a Thanksgiving photo shoot. The pictures turned out hilarious!
Our dinner was so yummy! We were only 30 minutes later than our plan due to Justin being late. It was nice to have dinner wrapped up early so we could play games for the rest of the day.
We hooted over the "Twin Races" created by Jaxson and Madison. Levi and Lydia were put on the floor to see who could crawl the most quickly to the opened arms of the kids. Yes, Levi won because there was food while Lydia just grinned and grinned.
As tradition went, we played games for hours and hours. PIT was the hit of the day. The kids really go into it along with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Nicole.
Justin's family left late that night. Thanksgiving was wonderful. Thanks Hatch family! We love you!

DECORATING THE TREE
The next day, Black Friday, after mom and I shopped for a few hours, we put up out Christmas decor. Oh, I just LOVE Christmas! And my family!
