We arose quite early to head out for Yellowstone. Since we were just minutes from the south entrance, entering the park was pretty fast.
Our first stop was Old Faithful. We loved it! The crowd was huge but the steamy show was worth it! We ate lunch at the lodge and sadly said good-bye to mom and dad.
We drove to our campsite near the lake and then headed to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It was spectacular. We had to take a hike down by the lower falls. On our way back to the campground, we saw herds of bison and even elk! It was incredible. We had to stop at the Yellowstone Lake for some play on the beach for the kids. We were exhausted by the end of the day but excited about all we had experienced!
