Florida 2023:Citrus of Florida

 We started Saturday at a quirky little farm with all of the feels from yesteryear: Citrus of Florida! We drank some orange juice mixed with ice cream while walking around with nostalgia from memorabilia surrounding us. Lots of pictures from a really fun stop!

Florida 2023: A Day at Typhoon Lagoon

Because our soccer journey was over, we decided to maximize our final days in Orlando together. On Friday, we spent more than 8 hours at Typhoon Lagoon, a fun Disney water park. We had the greatest time in the tidal wave pool, laying out, and riding rides. Cindy had arrived that morning in Florida and joined us for fun in the afternoon.

 

Florida 2023: Final Soccer Game and Disney Springs

Alysa was a starter in the final game in Orlando, where the girls had a solid win. She played very well. Her coach complimented that she brought a specific skill set to benefit the team. We were so proud of our girl!

Since Alyssa played so early in the day, we went back to Ken and Connie's to sleep, swim, and shower. In the evening, we drove to Disney Springs for a yummy bbq dinner at the Polite Pig, live music, Gideon's over-priced cookies, and the most perfect sunset over the lake. We are loving our time in Florida!
