The day before Thanksgiving, Dave, Alyssa, and I spent the afternoon at Grandma Barbie's house learning how to make her delicious pie crusts, lemon meringue, and Thanksgiving stuffing with walnuts and pineapple! It was so much fun and I enjoyed getting the recipes written down, practiced, and perfected!
Thanksgiving Day was cooooold and snowy! Dave, Austin, and Alyssa headed out at 7:50am for the Manila Creek 8th Ward's Annual Turkey Bowl! They had a blast playing in the cold and snow while I worked in the kitchen.
For the first time in 20 years, we hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the Lindsays! I think we did a wonderful job too. The tables were gorgeous, the entertainment didn't stop, and the food was scrumptious! My kids enjoyed their tradition of hot tubbing while the adults watched football and slept a little. We had our traditional Thanksgiving picture booth and then Aunt Joan brought the fish pond with live fish! It was just a wonderful day spent with our family and loved ones! We are grateful for our blessings.
