The kids, ages 5-13, we literally mesmerized by the animals. We parked in front of the penguins for about 15 minutes as well as the otters of Utah. There were a few interactive tanks where we could feel star fish and more. An Indiana Jones rope course was a favorite too. Meredith and her family joined us for the fun.

A visit to the Natural Planet Aquarium
On Wednesday of our Spring Break, we visited the Natural Planet Aquarium in Draper. It was an amazing learning experience for the kids. We had Carson with us too.

Late Night during Spring Break!
Half of our Spring Break 2014 was spent on our empty street in Cedar Hills! Seriously, I've never seen so many families leave for a week as this year!
Several late nights came to be. The evenings were warmer than normal for this time of year so we spent several of them in the park behind our home. Austin and Alyssa shot baskets forever while Jaxson and his friends ran around. Great times!

High School Musical at Frontier Middle School
The kids and I went to see our cousin Jasmine in the play "High School Musical" at her middle school in Eagle Mountain. She did a great job! My favorite part of the night was watching her father beam while watching his little girl light up on the stage. Great memories for our family!
1st General Women's Conference
After Austin's baptism, Taylor and I attended the first General Women's conference in the conference center at Temple Square. I felt strongly that we should go and went to great lengths to get tickets. When she is an adult, I want her to be able to look back and document that she and her mother attended that very first conference together.
It was wonderful. Simply uplifting and spiritually edifying. I was choked up during each musical number because the spirit was so strong.

Things that make me smile!
Of course, these faces! Love these little neighbors of ours.
Dave sent me this picture of Alyssa playing football outside. She cracked him up with her sports attire.
LETTER FROM MY CHIROPRACTOR TO DAVE
I have been having serious neck pain. I often put off going to my chiropractor because I know when I wait too long, my neck will be in very bad shape and it will hurt when he adjusts me. It did. I actually yelled out!
Ben wrote me this letter for Dave:
Dave's response:
Isn't this the truth:
OCJH's Foreign Language Week
Celebrating Our Cultural Heritage: Where are my roots?
It was my favorite theme. Ever. We celebrated our cultural roots during our 19th Foreign Language Week at Oak Canyon. I took some pictures of some of my favorite poster depicting this year's theme. On Friday, after the assembly, we invited the teachers to the eat some tres leches cake and tamales. The cakes were even more delicious than they look!
