Fabulous Fall Memories

Weekend Fun with Aunt Cindy and Carson

We had a surprise phone call from Aunt Cindy and Carson, asking if they could spend the weekend with us.  Of course!  We miss them and don't see them as often as we would like.

They arrived around 6:00.  We ate dinner, carved pumpkins, made caramel apples and watched a movie.  One highlight was watching Cindy and Carson do a zombie dance they are dancing in for a mob flash dance.

Halloween 2013

Oh, it was fun!  Oh-so fun!  At the Lindsay home, we just love to have fun!

Alyssa enjoyed a wonderful party at Ms. Julie's house.  We also helped Austin's 2nd grade party at Deerfield.  Molly was in charge and it was awesome.  The kids decorated cookies, played a frog game and had a jello-eating competition.

At 4:30, the gathering began at the our home.  We had around 70 people show up.  Soups, chowders, cookies, pie, nachos, bread sticks and the works!  What a lovely tradition!

Watching Austin play soccer: THRILLING!

This boy is ALL about sports.  And books.  And Play Station 3.  He is just the greatest kid!  And I LOVE to watch him play any and all sports.  He is intense and plays with laser-like focus.   This season has been amazing.  We are grateful for his devoted coach, Jay Hafen.  He is an incredibly motivational and supportive of all the boys.
