 We met up around 7:00pm for some Family Home Evening boating with our dear friends.  The air was warm, the water cool and the kids were hyper!  We had the greatest time together.

Celebrating America's Birthday... In Brazil!

 Well, not quite, but close!  Cousin Doug's birthday is on July 4th and since he connected in with all the Brazilians, we usually have a Tucanos-type BBQ each Independence day.  Uncle Maricio didn't disappoint!  The meat was to die for and the company was incredible too.

After the BBQ, we drove up Provo Canyon to another BBQ with the Vanderwel family.  They are so much fun.  We loved talking, playing in the stream and singing to my guitar.

Later, we drove to PGJH for fireworks with Brian and his family.  The show was awesome and the company was even better!

I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home!

One of my greatest blessings is that we have a daddy who LOVES coming home.  Yes, we are so blessed to have Dave in our lives.

Annual Lunch Date with the girls of 1988!

 I know I'm not in my teens anymore, but try for a moment to convince me I've been out of school for 25 years now and I might just put up a fight!  Each year, the girls from our tiny class of 14 meet for lunch and to catch up on life.  We met in Ogden at Iggys for dinner.  Alane was on her way to China for a few years so we decided it was time to get together.  These are the girls that kept me on the right track in life, showed me that fun didn't have to include alcohol or drugs and encouraged me to be my best.  I owe these girls a lot.  I love that we all care about each other after all these years.

YeeeeeeHAW! Strawberry Days Rodeo

 Strawberry Days Rodeo was a blast!  Lucky for us, Jake Bingham saved us seats for the kids-free rodeo night!  About 30 minutes after arriving, we couldn't find Jaxson.  All of the kids were running trying to pull money off of calves so we guessed Jaxson had jumped the fence to do that.  $15.00 later we were right!
