On a cool, Sunday evening, we invited Grandma Barbie, Poppie, Cindy and Carson over for Swiss Raclette. After dinner, there was a lot of dancing. Enjoy!

Fun Aunt Cheri & Cousin Gina Marie!

One night, I took the kids over to the house to take some raspberry & peach cobbler to the painters (Cheri, Gina, Steve, Dave L. and Steve Johnston). Cheri turned up the music and danced with the kids. The kids laughed and had a great time!Gina Marie and Taylor dancing in the great room!

Let me just say how much we love Gina Marie! She is so loving and fun to be around. The kids have been talking about her ever since she left for home in California.

Conference Weekend with Cindy & Carson

WEEKEND AT CINDY & CARSON'S HOUSE
Since Dave was going to be working on the house all weekend, the kids and I took off for Cindy & Carson's home! Highlights included a yummy chinese dinner, lounging around listening to conference, cleaning up Jaxson's vomit at 1:3oam, making cupcakes for Cindy's birthday since I couldn't find an 8X11 cake pan to give her an appropriate cake and last, a quiet, peaceful ride back to Utah County as all of the kids slept on the way back!

Carson enjoying his gameboy

Everybody knows Jaxson's obsession with electronics. Lucky for him, Aunt Cindy had just purchased a new phone and let Jaxson pretty much have hers for the weekend. Jaxson was thrilled to say the least!

Sweet Little Austin!

Taylor on the phone with Daddy!

Jaxson- enjoying his own phone and games!

Carson was so sweet to share his gameboy with Jaxson. He even spent some time showing Jax how to play the games. Greatest cousin!

We let Cindy sleep in on her birthday. When she awoke, we had colored pictures for her and had some little posters on the wall wishing her a happy birthday. She loved it!

1st Day of School/Playing "Ginger getting married."

Taylor's 1st day of school was great! Dave took her to school and took pictures of her. She got to meet some new friends and eat school lunch (apparently, that was a highlight)! Her teacher is fantastic too. The boys and I picked her up from her 1st day.

Taylor waiting in line to go into school.

Later that day, I overhead Taylor and Jaxson in a bedroom. They were discussing how they were going to play "Ginger getting married." I walked in and saw Taylor dressed like this!

Szymanski Visit

In August, we were excited to hear that Rachelle and Jared were in town with their daughters, Brita and Leah. We were only able to see them for about an hour but it was a riot (as expected). Taylor loved playing with her "sisters". She has called Brita and Leah her sisters for years now and still draws them into her pictures of our family.

Beautiful girls! Leah (age 5), Brita (age 6) and Taylor (age 6)
Sinced Jared was expressing disappointment in not having the adults' pictures taken, I chose to snap a quick one of him. We are currently having it enlarged and will have the newly-framed picture hung from above Dave and my bed....
One last picture of the kids, including Jaxson. (Austin was having a snooze....)

Pleasant Grove Home

Pleasant Grove Home
Dave staining the mantel in the great room.
Jaxson getting ready to dance to Dad's music.
About a year ago, in November of 2006, we decided it was time to build and move again. We found a lot in Pleasant Grove and felt it was a good investment. Building this home has been quite the experience! Dave has been swamped and has done an amazing job being the general contractor on the house. Anyway, we are going to sell it now and stay where we are. Dave and I wanted something different than tans and browns for the exterior of the home. It still needs the shutters and the door stained.

The fireplace in the basement-
I love the way Dave designed the mantel to wrap around the entire fireplace.
Master Bathroom, without the mirrors, fixtures or cabinet doors.
This is the granite Dave chose to go throughout the all the house's bathrooms. Doesn't it look like marble?Back of house, before the railingMaster tub and shower. We are putting glass from above the tub to the ceiling to separate the two. Right before the sheet rock

Ginger's Wedding- part 2

One of the best things about Mom and Dad coming home from their mission and Ginger & Josh's wedding was having a lot of family time.

We took this picture of all of the Hatch grandkids at our home. Such cute kids!
