I found a super cheap ticket from SLC to Tucsan around Christmas so I quickly bought it for a visit with mom and dad right after Alyssa's birthday.
When I planned this quick trip to visit my parents in Tucson, I told my family that this would be an experience for me to have some one-on-one time with mom and dad.
Well that didn’t happen!
Justin ended up flying in 2 hours before me on a business trip to spend 2 days with mom and dad. And then Jenny drove down from Mesa with her family an hour before Justin left on Saturday. And we all got to spend time with Ginger who lives 12 minutes away with her darling family.
It ended up being this unexpected, blissfully wonderful experience to spend time with each of them as well as with my amazing parents.
Life doesn’t always go the way I planned… and honestly, I thank God for that. His plans have a way of turning my detours into something better than I could have imagined.
I’ve been waiting for this night and it did NOT disappoint
Watching my niece rock the stage in The Little Mermaid was everything. Broadway, watch out — we’ve got a star in the family
