Highland Choral Arts Christmas Concert with Cathy Jolley

Behold….the QUEEN!

(No, really, she is!)

This year’s Highland Choral Arts Christmas concert was exceptional. Directed by the über-talented Cathy Jolley (my former colleague and Performing Arts Specialist), the audience laughed and cried our way through stirring renditions of favorite Christmas carols, as well as a nod to “Wicked” with a surprise performance of “Defying Gravity.” Taylor said, “Mom, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of Cathy.” Yep- she is simply captivating.

I was able to connect with a beautiful former German student of mine at the concert as well. Elisabeth Eide (Bee) continues to radiate light and elegance. I love her!! @bee_eide

Anastasia at the Draper Theater

After the ward breakfast, Taylor and I drove to Draper to watch cousin Charisse in "Anastasia." It was a fabulous production. Charisse was regal, graceful, charming, and elegant! We loved the show.

 

Manila Creek 8th Ward Christmas Breakfast and Program

Our ward met at the A-frame building across from the Timpanogos Temple for a scrumptious breakfast and fun Christmas program. We enjoyed visiting with neighbors, listening to beautiful music, and filling our hearts with the spirit of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

December 12th Birthdays mixed with a little YW fun!

Happiest of Birthdays to my fabulous mother and incredible sister, Jenny!

For a birthday and Christmas gift, all of us kids sent Jenny money and she purchased tickets to "A Christmas Carol" with tons of gift cards for mom and dad to use at a variety of restaurants in the upcoming months. I loved receiving these pictures of 2 of the best women I know and love.

 

Adventsingen 2024

My beautiful daughter Taylor and I attended the 50th annual Adventsingen tonight. Tears filled my eyes hearing the voice of Dr Kelling narrating the book of Luke as well as carols sung in German. Taylor's voice was angelic as she sang "Stille Nacht" and "O Tannenbaum" in German. I love that she enjoys these experiences with me.

Mein Herz ist voll.
