We knew from the pictures the cabin mom and dad had rented at Bear Lake was going to be epic but oh boy, were we still gleefully surprised when we pulled up and walked in....spectacular! Austin said, "I could get used to this."
Day 1 began with an arrival from the crew and dinner at 6pm. We were excited to have cousin Zac Wallin and his family join us too. The kids were drawn to the ball pit, the video games, but mostly the swimming pool. After dinner, the cousins swam and then we had a devotional from Grandpa Hatch. It felt amazing to be together as a family. With siblings spread out across the western states, it is becoming harder and harder to come together. But we did. And the next few days would deepen our love and commitment to each other.
