The Lindsays Follow GA Soccer to Florida- Day 2 (Anna Marie Island)

Anytime I travel to a new place that I love, I wonder if I will ever be able to go back to visit. That is how I felt when I drove from the Anna Marie Island beach in 2021. Fast forward 2 years and I was right back in a place I loved with people I love, enjoying music and good food on the beach.

 

Prior to the beach, the soccer game was pretty rough. Alyssa's hip still really hurt ---and we got crushed 8-0 by a really great team from back east. Aunt Connie drove to watch Alyssa play so it was fun to have her there too. We love every minute we spend in Florida! 

 

The Lindsays Follow Celtic GA to Florida- Day 1

I know I have talked about this before, but it is worth mentioning now: when we learned that Alyssa's soccer team would travel, Dave felt strongly that we needed to do all we could to make those trip centered around building deeper relationships with ALL of our children. 

So Austin traveled with us to Florida!  And Taylor ended up going there too for Snow College's Spring Break with bestie Megan. 

We flew out of SLC directly to Orlando. Landed and was hungry so we grabbed pizza in the beautiful 75 degree weather. We arrived at our Airbnb in the dark so the pictures of it on this page were what we awoke to the next morning!  A beautiful place to call home for 5 days!

Happy 51st Birthday to King David!

Dave ended up with 2 birthday dinners: One on May 4th and the other on his birthday.  

With Taylor in town from Snow College, we decided to celebrated on the weekend prior to Dave's birthday. Dave chose to eat at Tepanyaki in Lehi. The kids loved it and the food was incredible. From there, we drove over to Barbara and Dale's to celebrate with them too. We love our grandparents and are grateful to have them close. Alyssa and Grandma danced for us and Poppie seemed to enjoy the evening as well.

On March 8th, we went out to Del Mar with Melissa and Doug and our kids for some delicious Mexican seafood.  YUM!!!!!
