Ripping Out Our Master Bathroom--oh my!

Oh mercy,

Here we go again!

Dave was watching football in the basement family room and noticed color on the ceiling under our master bathroom shower. That led to a phone call to the plumber and emergency visit to learn there is a leak in our 17 year old shower pan.  All through the weekend, Dave and the boys (and Connie) demolished our brown master bathroom.  Here's hoping we can get a new bathroom in soon!

A Teppanyaki-style Birthday Celebration with Friends

We met up with several families (Meredith, Yolanda, and Adrian) over at Tepppanyakis in Lehi to celebrate Clara's 13th birthday. It was a wonderful experience to be together again with families we have enjoyed memories with in the past.  Everything looks so different now---and that is okay!  Dave and I were just happy to sit around a table together, laugh, and joke.  Oh, and the food was FIRE!

Soccer Tournament in Mesquite for Austin

Our family enjoyed cheering on Austin and his soccer team in a tournament in Mesquite.  Just like in life, there were amazing wins and hard losses...AND we are so proud of the overall outcome!

On our way back to Utah County, we made a 7 second decision on I-15 to detour to Snow College to surprise Taylor....and did! LOL!

Taylor Heads Off to SNOW COLLEGE

All week, in my mind I kept hearing the legendary chorus from Fiddler on the Roof, "Sunrise, Sunset, Sunrise, Sunset, Swiftly Fly the Years."

We dropped our Taylor off at Snow College today.  She is ready.  And we are ready to watch her spread her wings and fly.  Having said that, we are going to miss her so very much!  So spread those wings majestically, Taylor, and soar in the wind. There will be ups and downs, strong winds you will fly against and other times wind that you will glide on.  Your family will always cheer you on- xoxoxo
