Celebrating July 4th!
John Adams
This summer, our July 4th celebration spanned 4 days! On Saturday the 3rd, we enjoyed lunch out at MidiCi with the kids and then shopping for clothes and a new mattress/bed for Austin. Such a fun, fun day!
On Sunday, the 4th, we went to church and then over to Cheri's so we could see Grandma and celebrate the 4th together. The meat and dinner was scrumptious! The kids had fun playing with their cousins and visiting with Grandma Barbie. Such a wonderful day!
On Monday, the 5th, we arose early to drive to Provo to catch the tail end of the hot air balloon launch and then the Freedom Parade! The kids were dragging their feet at first but got into the festivities pretty quickly thereafter. We ate lunch at Super Chix (I ate the yummiest avocado sandwich) which was a hit for everyone. Later in the day, we drove back to Saratoga to celebrate cousin Doug's birthday, watch some Copa America soccer (Brazil beat Peru) and then finished off the day with fireworks in the neighborhood.
Last, on Tuesday, the 6th, we were able to spend a few hours with Jenny and her darling boys from Mesa, AZ! They came over for some cousin fun and then we went to the flag hanging in the canyon.
We love and value our family, faith, and country! It was wonderful to celebrate in 2021!
