Our family congregated at East Canyon at Justin and Jana's time share for another epic family reunion! It had every amenity we could have dreamed of: miniature golf, pickle ball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, shuffle board, trails, lake, RV hookups, ping pong, pool tables, 2 swimming pools, 2 hot tubs, and more! We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and the fun began! For the next 3 days, we ate like kings, swam, enjoyed early morning walks, played games galore, took razor rides in the canyon, visited together, and simply enjoyed our time in the beautiful Utah mountains, tucked away from our jobs and stresses. Family is priceless; family is everything
One of the things I love about summer is all of the family time that comes from the weeks out of school. While June was filled with youth camps and conferences for the 3 oldest kids, July is all about our family! After Ginger's family left, Brandon's family arrived for several days! We loved spending time with them at the Manila Pond paddle boarding, BBQing, playing with the kids, watching Aladin, and just being together!
Our day didn't go exactly as planned, but all in all, we hit a home run as a family!
We drove to Provo to watch the parade but learned that we were an hour late! #jodyfailure So Dave suggested we go to Fizz for drinks. #davesuccess From there, we drove to Tibblefork to go paddle boarding with Doug and Melissa's family but it was so packed, we couldn't even find parking! So we went home and played "redneck football" in the sprinklers. It was so much fun! After naps, we drove to Provo for dinner and Stadium of Fire with Keith Urban! The show was incredible! We had the greatest time! After we arrived home at 11pm, we congregated in the hot tub to close out the night. Love, love, love my family!
