Jaxson's enjoyed 3 1/2 days in Jackson, WY with the High Adventures group from our ward. They had the time of their lives...in record-breaking low temperatures! They hiked, kayaked, saw a play, went to eat, toured Jackson Hole, and the highlight was white water rafting down the Snake River! We are so proud of Jaxson and his willingness to try new things.
Austin is hiking all over in Utah this summer! Matt, our fun neighbor, is always on the GO and invites Austin to go with him and his son, Jack. Here is a little hike up Mt. Mahogany!
Oh, how we love our Dave/Dad! For Father's Day, we fixed him waffles, bacon, and eggs, and made certain he felt our love and adoration for him! The kids and I all took turns expressing our feeling for Dave/Dad. It was special to hear the kids talk about how much they love their father. The kids and I are blessed to have a hard working, devoted, God-fearing, humble man at the head of our family. We love you, Dave! Happy Father's Day!
June is filled with church camps each week for our teenagers. Taylor kicked off the summer with YW camp in Moab. The girls spent 3 days river rafting the Colorado River. Taylor reported it was one of the most amazing experiences she has ever had! The girls had a fabulous time hiking to Delicate Arch in the dark, rafting, and growing their testimonies. We are grateful for her leaders, recently released Jenny Miller and new president Carrie Lopez!
What a year! I have had incredible experiences with inspiring colleagues and role models. We have learned together, worked together, and shared each others' burdens and joys. I am so grateful!
