Memorial Day Weekend 2019

I love going to Chesterfield each Memorial Day to spend with our family there.  It was a wet, cold weekend but we had the best time!  The cousins played super cute together.  They are the best of friends!  We enjoyed going to the townsite for a wagon ride through the old pioneer buildings, going to the cemetery to honor our grandparents and see dear friends/family, and playing games together!

Seminary Graduation for Taylor!

Another HUGE milestone for our Taylor: Seminary Graduation!  She did it and we couldn't be more proud!  Taylor was asked to lead the music.  She did an amazing job at it. I love how seminary has deepened her spiritual growth and helped increase her testimony.  We love you, Taylor Jae!

About our Taylor....

There are countless things we can share about Taylor that showcase her core values, how she responds to and reacts to others, what her talents look like, and what kind of dreams for her future have filled her mind.

Taylor came to us with masses of dark hair and a dinosaur-like scream caused by a vibrating tongue.  She loved to use her voice, even as an infant, letting all who tried to hold her know exactly how she felt about them.  As Taylor increased in age, her vocal skills developed too.  She is our songbird, filling the space in our home with melodies, music, and memories.

Taylor is a peacemaker.  She is quick to forgive others, which I believe is one of her greatest strengths.  Taylor is a loyal friend, a friend to the friendless, constantly bursting with ideas to do things for others.  She is compassionate, incredibly loving, and patient.  Taylor will be an incredible mother, one who will be on the floor creating make-believe tales and adventures with her children (while I am cleaning the house- haha).

Taylor works hard to be her best self.  She has had some difficult challenges in her youth through which she has had to learn how to navigate. These challenges have become part of the woven tapestry of her soul.  Taylor is positive, resilient.  She has hope for her future and lives her life in the present, while learning from the past how to harvest future goals and ambitions that are meaningful to her.

Taylor loves her family deeply.  She is like a warm fire that draws us to her for comfort and peace.  We are honored to have raised such an extraordinary young woman.

Love, Mom and Dad
