Austin has had a great time playing jr jazz basketball season. Dave helped Coach Jacob Boone with the team and loved being a part of Austin's experience this season. Now, off to tournaments!

I spent most of Valentine's Day at Weber State for the Utah Foreign Language Association Conference. I got up early so I could put up the kids' and Dave's posters on the their doors with some treats. They loved them! On my way to the conference, I told Dave I didn't want him to buy flowers but let me put them toward some new furniture. When I arrived home, we made yummy fondue for a Valentine's Day dinner for our kids, the loves of our lives.
I love experiences more than things. For one of Taylor's Christmas gifts, I bought her tickets to see WICKED. We had the greatest day together. We drove to SLC, ate lunch at the Eccles Theater, and then watched the incredibly brilliant show, "Wicked." We laughed, cried, and felt grateful for the people in our lives.
She is 10! I just can't even believe it! Our baby girl is 10 now. We have been planning her special day for some time now. She took some friends to a trampoline park for a few hours and then back to our house for cupcakes, presents, and slime. We love you, Alyssa! Thanks for choosing us as your family!
