It was one of our days off for Christmas Break and I was dying to see the snow-crusted mountains. Austin, Alyssa, and I headed to Sundance for a day on the slopes. It didn't disappoint. We got countless runs in, ate some yummy chili, and mom didn't even wreck! LOL! I am so proud of both Austin and Alyssa. They are killing it on the slopes!
I couldn't even believe that I only had ONE child performing in the Deerfield Christmas Concert this year. Where has the time gone? Alyssa was so darling as she sang. I could tell she could see me there and was trying hard not to smile. My little dolly is growing up!
I wanted to watch the MOTAB Christmas Concert soooo bad this year! Dave surprised me with a date night to the concert but with Kristin Chenowith's popularity, we landed awesome seats in the Joseph Smith Building with the Cheesecake Factory afterward. I love Dave, love spending time with him. He is simply my world!
After 4 1/2 years, Austin got his braces off! He couldn't quit smiling. Me either. My handsome son!!!!
The Christmas concert at MRJH was so special this year! Both of my sons were performers in it. Austin was hilarious. He was super nervous and told him he wasn't going to look at the audience. I could see every ounce of his nervousness and it made both Dave and I grinned like crazy! Jaxson was awesome. I could tell he liked his new choir teacher. The music was beautiful, inspiring. It was the perfect night to bring on Christmas!
