Alyssa is such a natural little athlete! We love watching her play everything that excites her. Basketball season just started and we got to watch her play a few games before Christmas. Keep at it, girl!
Oh, it tasted just a good as it looked! We enjoyed our annual fondue dinner with a few of the sisters from the Switzerland Zürich Mission 1991-1992. We met in Lindon for a delicious dinner of cheese fondue, bread, and peppermint tea! The evening was wonderful and I left feeling so blessed for the experiences I have had in my life and the wonderful people I have met too.
Each year, we invite our neighbors over for some hot cocoa and Christmas carols. This year, the Hults and DuJardins came over for the fun! A wonderful night with loved ones!
What a wonderful week! We were able to watch and hear each one of our children perform in their school's Christmas concerts. Taylor kicked off the week with a wonderful performance at her voice teacher's house. From there, we drove to Lone Peak for a marvelous night filled with music! It was truly enjoyable. Jaxson's Christmas concert at MRJH was also so special! He sang so cute. We love how being in choir has shaped a new talent for him. Last, Austin and Alyssa sang in their Christmas concert at Deerfield. It was Austin's last year being a 6th grader. The music was wonderful and filled our hearts too. Grandma Barbie and Poppie were so sweet to come to each concert this week. Such a lovely week!
I really enjoyed the traditional German, Austrian, and Swiss Christmas music at this year's Adventsingen. Dave and Alyssa came along with me. It was the perfect way to bring in the Christmas season!
Since Taylor has been in the LPHS choir this year, she has had some extra unique opportunities to perform. One of these was the Madrigal dinner. It was incredible. I can't even begin to imagine the hours put in behind the scenes by Taylor's teacher. Taylor was DARLING as she served us food and drink while singing. Alyssa and I enjoyed the evening so much!
Alyssa is having all sorts of fun with her little friends! Clara and Maddie are darling. The girls have so much fun with each other. I took them shopping over the Thanksgiving break. We had the greatest time with each other.
