I think that spring is my favorite season....

Jaxson Turns 8 Years Old!

Jaxson made his entrance into the world during the final session of conference in April! It was my hardest delivery by far. Simply stated, he got stuck. After several hours of pushing and vomiting, he arrived looking like this:
Yes, his head was a complete mess! Dave and I were horrified! But our doctor said that his head would look better within 24 hours (which it did). I was so sick by the end, I didn't even care to hold him longer than about 10 minutes.
Jaxson has the most infectious smile! It literally lights up his face and whatever room he is in. He was the sweetest little baby.

In September of 2004, when Jax was 5 months old, we moved into our Cedar Hills home. He starting sitting up at 5 1/2 months, walking at 9 months and running at 10 months. We have been chasing him ever since!

Jaxson came bounding in from school on his birthday wearing the funniest hat on the planet! We loved taking his picture and experiencing his excitement from his special day.
I wanted to do something a little more special for his 8th birthday so I scheduled a swimming party at the Legacy Pool for Jax and 8 guests. When I arrived, they had it decorated and had party favors for each swimmer. We ate pizza and cupcakes and got ready for some water fun!

After two hours in the pool, we went to Grandma Barbie's house for cake and dinner #2! Daddy and Aunt Cheri met us over there for a night of games and good food.

Happy Birthday, son! We are so proud of you and the person you are. We are also so thrilled to have you in our family. Love you so much- Mom and Dad
