Christmas Morning 2007

Christmas morning started somewhere between 6:00-8:15am, depending on who you were. Dave and Cindy had stayed up until 4:00am playing Dave's new playstation 3 and were exhausted. Santa came sometime after 4am and Carson and Taylor were up around 6:00am. Cindy tried to keep them out of the living room and gave up around 6:30 when I surfaced. Grandma Hatch arrived around 7:30am and we waited for Grandma Barbie and Poppie. At 8:15 am, we decided the surprise had worn off and let the kids at it! What fun they had!

Taylor was thrilled to get her earrings and jewelry

Jaxson went right for the kids gift from Santa, lovingly named the "jeep car."

His face says it all!

Austin kept pulling this face over his Lightning McQueen car, his favorite gift from his favorite movie, "Cars."

I created a book from our California trip with Cindy, Carson and Poppie and Grandma Barbie for Christmas with pictures and tales from our 7 days together. It was a hit!

Christmas Eve- part 2

Before the kids went to bed, we had our annual picture in the pajamas in front of our Christmas tree. The boys were tired but Taylor had to stay up to wait for Carson to come! Jaxson (age 3), Taylor (age 6) and Austin (age 21 months)

Christmas Eve 2007

We met at Justin and Jana's house on Christmas Eve for a family party, except for Jeff and Brantly (you guys were very missed!). We began with a soup cook off between Mom Hatch and Wife Hatch who made delicious Chicken Noodle Soup and White Bean Chicken Chili. From there, we had a white elephant exchange with the little cousins, Christmas carols and then the adult White Elephant fun. Last, we had the kids act out the nativity and heard Grandpa Hatch's no-Bible account as the kids' attention spans weren't going to last too long. Before we all left, we sang more Christmas carols. We all enjoyed the company and warm feelings of the spirit of Christmas. Mom, showing off her white elephant gift

Taylor was Mary, Jaxson was Joseph, Kaden was the baby Jesus, Austin was a wise man, Jessica and angel and Madison was a Shepherd. Patrick just looked on at the fun!

First Holiday Guests Arrive- December 23rd

By Sunday evening, our home was filled with members of the Hatch family. Mom and Dad, Brandon and Charlotte with their twin daughters Sadie and Sydney as well as the new "hot couple", Ginger and Josh. We ate Raclette and tried to help with Sadie and Sydney. They are both beautiful girls! Ginger, trying to look helpful while feeding little Sadie (4 months old)

Build Job for SALE!!!!

So, here are some pictures of the home we built and have decided to sell. We are listing it for sale by owner and with Covenant Realty with our buddy Dana. Dave did a great job putting this home together and it has overall been a good experience! So, if you know anybody looking to buy, we have it priced to sell! :)

I LOVE the kitchen! My favorite features are the 6 burner gas stove with griddle, the 10 ft deep pantry and the huge island. They needed 9 men to haul in the granite piece. Unreal!

1st Snowstorm of 2007

December 8, 2007: This weekend, we had our first big snowstorm of the year! The kids begged Dave to go out and build a snowman with them. They tired out of the building for a while but Dave really got into it. By the end, we had a huge snowman waving down at the road. The kids are so proud of it!
